The Heart Behind Every Paw
How It Began
Faith Paws Partners grew from Founder April N. Watson’s lifelong love for animals. From an early age, animals were an important part of her life. Cats were part of her childhood, and throughout her adult life she also shared her life with three dogs. Today, cats are once again part of her everyday life, but her love and compassion have always extended to both cats and dogs.
April’s connection to animals has also included professional and volunteer experience in the animal field, including working in an animal shelter, fostering and adopting animals, and caring for community cats. Although her career eventually led her into other professions, animals remained a constant part of her life—somehow seeming to find her wherever she went.
These experiences deepened her commitment to animal welfare, advocacy, and service and ultimately helped inspire the creation of Faith Paws Partners.
Why Faith Paws Partners Exists
Faith Paws Partners was created from a simple belief: helping animals takes more than one person or one organization. There are people who want to help but may not know where to begin, organizations doing important work that can benefit from additional community support, and cats and dogs whose needs can easily go unseen.
Faith Paws Partners exists to help bridge those gaps—bringing people together, encouraging compassion in action, and creating more ways for the community to make a difference in the lives of cats and dogs.

What Guides Us
Faith, compassion, integrity, and service are at the heart of Faith Paws Partners. We believe every animal deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and humane care, and that every person has the ability to make a difference.
We are guided by the belief that every paw has a story, every act of compassion matters, and working together can create lasting change for cats and dogs in our communities.
