Senior cats and dogs and long-term shelter residents can sometimes be overlooked, even though they still have so much love, personality, and life to share.
Some may need extra time to adjust. Others may benefit from a quieter environment, additional support, greater visibility, or simply the opportunity for someone to see beyond their age or the amount of time they have spent in a shelter.
At Faith Paws Partners, we believe these cats and dogs deserve continued compassion, advocacy, and opportunities for their next chapter.
As our work grows, we hope to support efforts to bring greater attention, resources, and partnership to senior cats, dogs, and long-term residents, while also supporting the shelters, animal rescue organizations, foster caregivers, volunteers, and community partners working on their behalf.
